Air Noise

Air noise is very similar to flautando bowing but with almost no pressure producing white noise with practically no pitch.
The left hand is used to mute the strings and the pitch quality will vary according to the string on which it is played: if a higher string is used then the air noise will be higher and thinner in tone than if a lower string is used.
