Mandolino

Technical Practice
One or two fingers of the right hand are used: the fingers pull the string as normal then flick back with the same degree of force. With practice, a very smooth, rapid tremolo can be produced.

Notes
This technique allows for a rapid tremolando effect similar to that used by Mandolinists and Bouzouki performers. Great speed can be achieved and can be applied to static notes, chords or moving lines.

Dynamic Range: pp-ff
Difficulty: 4
