Multiple Finger Pizzicato
Technical Practice
Up to four fingers of the right hand can be used to provide greater speed and dexterity in pizzicato performance.
If two are used, then the fingers should alternate in attack i.e: 1,2,1,2,1,2
If three or more are used then they can be used in either a 'rolling' motion (1,2,3,1,2,3) or in an alternating fashion (1,2,1,3,1,2,1,3).
Notes
It is easiest to perform when the bow is set down.
The upper limit speed is performer determined.
Dynamic Range: pp-ff
Difficulty: 1/2
