Pizzicato Harmonics

Natural harmonics can be performed with all standard pizzicato and non standard pizzicato articulations.
They can be performed in the regular pizzicato position or articulated between the left hand and the nut. When articulated between the left hand and the nut, the harmonic speaks more clearly and with greater sustain through the upper dynamic level is slightly reduced. Dynamic Range: pp-ff Difficulty: 2 Special Notes: Most effective when using the lower partials of the harmonic series. |
